Odds and Ends

Here are some things that our family has been up to in the past month.......

Brantley has found her new favorite place to play. One of our kitchen drawers!

We have gotten to spend time with Sweet Baby Ian!

We spent Labor Day 2010 at Finlay Park with some of our greatest friends. Including Brantley's favorite Nae-Nae.

We went to Monkey Joe's with B's Sassy and my great friend, Andrea, and her little boy, Grantham.

Brantley is getting much better at using utensils when she eats. I know it doesn't look like it here, but trust me, it is much better than it was.

We went to the Greek Festival this year and ran into our favorite Trevett Family!

I am still loving sewing and I have a list a mile long of projects that I want to accomplish, but here is my most recent accomplishment.
A laptop cover!

Gamecock and Playrooms

About a year ago today Brantley was ready for her first Carolina Gamecock Football game.....
Today she is a little more ready for the first Carolina Football game of the season.......
Go Gamecocks!!!

Eric and I have been working hard to finish up B's playroom and we are finally finished and ready to show you the before and after pictures.

Before
After
Magnetic Chalkboard that we painted on the wall and lined with crown molding. We plan on hanging her artwork from preschool above the chalkbaord.
The wreath on the door to our attic is from her birthday party and the pictures are just some of our favorites that we blew up to 16x20.
Curtains that I made with my mom and some paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling above bookcase.
Her favorite: Pool of plastic balls! She dives into this thing as soon as we get up there. We put some circle mirrors on the wall above:)

Happy playing everyone!
